2nd Year Wedding Anniversary

Well for our second year anniversary this year, we decided to go to the CN Tower again and have dinner at the 360 degree rotating restaurant. Its such a neat experience being up there rotating slowly around that we wanted to do it again. We rotated a full two times while we were up there and saw a really nice sunset. We had steaks which were really good. There was a Blue Jays game being played in the Rogers Center and the roof was open so you could watch them playing because the stadium is directly underneath the tower. After dinner, we went to a viewing area outside and you could hear the game - the announcer and fans cheering. Pretty neat.

We're so happy we got them. They bring us a lot of enjoyment. They have such funny personalites. Dexter will groom your hair if your sitting on the couch and he's laying on the top like in the pictures below and he'll lick you a lot too on your hand or arm. His tongue is so rough, it feels so weird. He purrs much more than Lexi and is more curious about things. Lexi is not nearly as active as Dexter so she's gained a little more weight. Lexi likes to cuddle a little more than Dexter. She won't lick you or groom you. The funny thing she does which Darcie and I laugh about all the time is how vocal she is. When you go to touch her, it's a sound she makes like she's giving you some attitude like "hey don't touch me" or "ah, what are you doing". It's hard to describe but I think the best way to put it is it sounds like a snobby meow. It's not like she doesn't want us to touch her because she loves the attention and scratches but its the way she does it, like she's implying she doesn't appreciate the fact that it was so long since we looked at her last. It's so funny. Also what's funny is if you haven't seen her for a while and you make eye contact, she'll give you a head nod like she's saying "hey, what's up". It's awesome.

Kitchen backsplash is done. Kitchen complete!

The backsplash is finally put up. First time tiling but we're happy with how it turned out and the way it finishes the kitchen off. What a difference from the pictures we took when we first moved in. We really like the look of the tiles. Now on to the next project...............

New Members of the Family!!

Hey everyone! This is my first time blogging. I thought I would give it a shot, besides it is an excellent way to procrastinate and not study! I thought I would take some pictures of our new cats Dex and Lex so everyone can see. Enjoy!

We are having such a good time with the little guys. I think we really lucked out getting great cats with great personalites that are really well behaved. It was a good idea to get them as a pair because they keep each other busy and happy. We can't believe how self sufficient they are, and how easy they are to have around. We are very happy with our decision to adopt, and I would definitely recommend it!
